External funding from competitive calls or research contracts accounts for a consistent part of the INFM budget.
The Projects Office offers a support service for the scientific community in identifying funding opportunities at the international, national and regional levels, and technical and specialized assistance in the projects’ preparation, submission and management phases, and in particular: - drawing up and submission of project’s proposals;
- definition of budget;
- follow-up of proposals during the evaluation procedures;
- negotiations with funding agencies;
- monitoring, support and assistance in periodical and final reporting;
- relationship and contacts with the relevant funding agencies.
