Replanning of INFM Research Structures PDF Print E-mail

During 2008 INFM has started an evaluation process aimed at redefining the scientific focus and the organization of its structures.

The main phases of the evaluation process are:
1. the creation of a database (Evidenze2) containing relevant data for the evaluation
2. the evaluation of the scientific structures carried out by a Scientific Advisory Panel composed of international experts. The Panel was assigned the specific mission of evaluating the Institute activities, on the basis of the preliminary self-evaluation  carried out by each structure, and of providing support in defining future scientific planning with reference to the international context.

In order to disseminate the most significant highlights obtained by INFM scientific community and to disclose the results of the preliminary self-evaluation, on November 20-21, 2008 a Workshop was carried out in Sestri Levante, during which the Panel Members went into scientific themes of each structure and directly interacted with researchers.

The results of the Workshop, together with the Panel considerations and recommendations, are contained in an Evaluation Report.
